Polish developer CI Games released some new information on the weapons in their upcoming game, Sniper Ghost Warrior 3, and the arsenal available at the player’s disposal is impressive. Including the requisite sniper rifles, the player will have access to a wide range of shotguns, assault rifles, pistols, knives, bows, and even a drone to get a better view of the target.
Customization will play an important part in how your game plays. You’ll be able to customize the optics, magazine loadout, silencers, the weapon skin, laser sights, and bipods on some of the weapons which can help reduce sway. Assault rifles can be outfitted to be more appropriate for stealth, or you can choose to go the spray ‘n pray route and maximize sheer damage. But you’ll have to pay attention to the customizations as they can have an adverse effect on the weapon. Increasing the weapon weight can cause the weapon sway to increase, for example.
Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 takes place in Georgia in Eastern Europe, near the Russian boarder. You take on the role of American Jon North, a sniper looking to rescue his brother. It’s an open world game, and like others using the CryEngine it will feature a mix of action, stealth, and driving. The game was delayed for a few weeks due to feedback received in beta testing, and it is now set to release on April 25 on PC, Xbox One, and PS4. You can view the latest trailer “Brothers” here.
